Today, I’m focusing on Bennie Maupin, another living jazz legend who doesn’t get nearly the recognition he deserves.

Maupin is perhaps best known for recording with Horace Silver (Serenade to a Soul Sister), Miles Davis (Bitches Brew) and Herbie Hancock (Headhunters, Thrust).
